| Fund Raising |

Our
Village Hall is a great asset to the village and is used by many local
organisations. In recent months the Village Hall Management committee has authorised the rebuilding of the porches and repairs to the guttering. External decoration of the Main Hall & Liddell Hall also took place. Additionally the Village Hall furniture has been upgraded with new, padded, foldable chairs and new circular tables suitable for weddings, parties and other events.
Being a lovely old building, its upkeep is not cheap and renovations need to be done in a sympathetic manner to be in keeping with the structure. As a Charity, the only regular income the Hall has is from its hiring fees so donations and fund raising events are vital to maintain the Hall and carry out further renovation and refurbishments.

| If you would like to make a donation to the Village Hall Charity please download our "Gift Aid" form and send the completed form together with your cheque, made payable to Sherfield on Loddon Village Hall, to Sherfield Village Hall, Reading Road, Sherfield on Loddon, Hook, Hampshire RG27 0EZ. Alternatively you can post it in the Parish Council post box outside the Hall, next to the noticeboard. |

| Friends of the Village Hall
|
| If you'd like to be more involved in village life do come along to the next meeting of the “Friends of the Village Hall”. They generally meet on the first Monday of every month at 7.30pm in the Garden Room of the Village Hall. We urgently need fresh ideas for fund raising and volunteers to help with events. | Annual fund raising events vary but include a Barn Dance in January and Sherfield Beer Festival in September. We also have "Hog the Limelight" events sponsored by Hampshire County Council. See the "what's on" page. Fresh ideas for fund raising and volunteers to help with events are always welcome! |

| Become P O S H
|
Many
people who would like to contribute do not have time to spare for helping with
fund raising, so for this reason we have launched POSH.
If you
become a Patron Of Sherfield Village Hall, not only
will you be helping us to conserve a wonderful building but you stand a chance
of winning one of our monthly draw prizes – maybe a voucher to dine out, a
case of wine, theatre tickets or even a family day out.
Please print
off the form below and put it in an envelope marked POSH, together with your
cheque for £12 then either:
- hand in at the
Village Hall
- hand in at The
Shop or Post Office, or
- post to:
Jill Bingham, Appletree House, 17 Northfield Rd, Sherfield on
Loddon.
